Octoil Synthetic Esther Diffusion Pump Oil

Octoil was widely used in older mass spectrometers such as Alcatel and Veeco helium leak detectors. This fluid is very sensitive to air inrush but is otherwise an excellent diffusion pump oil capable of trapped pressures to 1X10^-8 torr. Octoil-S is a higher purity version used primarily in microscopes and other analytical instruments.
